SQF certification is an international food safety program that is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). GFSI recognised programs, such as SQF, require suppliers to meet various criteria on their food safety management system. These requirements are designed to protect the global and national food supply chain. In addition, SQF level 2 distinguishes the supplier as having an accredited HACCP plan for food safety.
