Lister Machine Tools recently opened its doors to the Northern Irish metal cutting industry with a 3 day open house exhibition. The local machine tools and accessories supplier has recently moved to a new 600 sq. m showroom near Junction One in Antrim and the open house event has been the culmination of substantial investment into the industry. Sales Representative Mark Evans said “We have noticed a distinct upturn in confidence in the market place and that has been reflected by the attendance here this week. We’ve worked hard over the last number of months to be able to showcase a variety of CNC and conventional lathes and machining centres to local Northern Irish engineers and we are delighted it has been such a success”
The live demonstrations provided attendees with a unique opportunity to view the various machines in operation. As well as the experts from Lister Machine Tools several industry specialists were also available to offer the large crowd additional specific advice. Andrew Armstrong from AA Precision Ltd. commented “It’s great to see a local company staging such a well organised exhibition. It provided us with an excellent opportunity to see the machines being demonstrated by helpful and knowledgeable staff. Well done Lister Machine Tools!”
After the success of this exhibition another one is already being planned. Lister Machine Tools Sales Representative Shane Fitzpatrick announced “We were so delighted with the positive feedback we have already begun planning our next one. Our Metal Forming Open House Exhibition is currently being scheduled to take place later this summer”.
