Universal Robots has announced that it will be taking its cobots on the road during its Ireland Cobot Automation Tour 2022, highlighting the benefits that user-friendly, flexible automation can bring to Irish manufacturers.
Visitors can get hands-on experience of cobots and hear directly from industry experts about how to best optimise production efficiency through easy-to-implement automation.
The four-stop tour runs from 21 to 24 March with events in the following locations:
- Monday 21 March – Dublin
- Tuesday 22 March – Belfast
- Wednesday 23 March – Mullingar
- Thursday 24 March – Galway
At each event, individuals will be given the opportunity to program the cobots themselves. Onrobot and MIR will also be exhibiting their automation solutions, providing attendees with the perfect opportunity to see and engage with a wide range of end-effectors and mobile robots.
Visitors will also be able to meet the team at Reliance automation, one of Universal Robots’ distributors for Ireland.
Mark Gray, Country Manager UK and Ireland at Universal Robots, said: “We are very excited to be demonstrating the simplicity and potential of collaborative automation.
“Our aim is to demonstrate that automation really is for everyone, not just large corporations with expert robotic engineers. Those who attend the tour will experience how easily automation can slot into existing operations and empower existing employees. All with minimal training.”
