Finning Power Systems has welcomed two new appointments to its power solutions team.

It is the UK’s & Ireland’s sole distributor of Caterpillar products, and has strengthened its power solutions team with two new appointments; assisting with the company’s drive towards ambitious strategic growth plans.

The appointments will support recent product developments at the company, including a new CG range of Cat gas generators and a double-conversion battery option for its Critical Power Modules.

Clint Noble

Clint Noble has joined the company as sales manager for data centre power solutions. Clint has extensive experience in specifying diesel & UPS power generation turnkey installations and joins the company from Emerson Network Power (formally Chloride).

With considerable knowledge of power infrastructures and the provision of UPS and standby gensets, Clint will be covering the UK market, working alongside the company’s data centre power solutions experts to offer a full range of Caterpillar-based turnkey solutions.

 

Nigel Thompson

Boasting over 19 years of experience in the industry, Nigel Thompson takes up the role of sales manager for gas power solutions. Nigel, whose expertise lies in specifying gas and cogeneration products, will also be covering the UK market.

A particular focus for Nigel in his new role will be to promote the Caterpillar range of CG gas generator sets. This new product line compliments Finning’s longstanding diesel and gas powered power generation business and will significantly expand its customer options for sustainable solutions.
