Maire Claire Reid, Managing Director of TST Group, has been shortlisted for the prestigious EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Ireland 2026 programme, one of the most recognised and competitive business awards initiatives globally

Now in its 40th year internationally and operating across more than 60 countries, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year programme celebrates exceptional founders and business leaders who demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation, growth and impact.

Maire Claire Reid is among a select group of 31 entrepreneurs, representing 24 companies from across the island of Ireland, who have been chosen following a rigorous nomination, application and interview process. Candidates are assessed by an independent judging panel across a range of criteria including business performance, strategic direction, innovation and leadership impact.

Her inclusion in this year’s shortlist reflects both her individual leadership and the strength of TST Group, the international logistics business she co-founded with her family.

Under Reid’s leadership, TST Group has evolved from a single-truck operation into a fully integrated 3PL provider with depots across the UK and Ireland and more than 1.5 million square feet of warehousing capacity. The business has achieved sustained growth through a combination of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions, while strengthening its UK presence and expanding across the Republic of Ireland.

She has successfully guided the business through significant industry challenges, including Brexit and ongoing supply chain disruption, positioning TST Group as a key partner in facilitating trade between Ireland and the UK.

Beyond operational growth, Reid is a strong advocate for sustainability and innovation within the logistics sector. She continues to champion the adoption of technology and AI-led solutions to future-proof the business, while also investing in talent development through initiatives such as the TST Academy, aimed at attracting and training the next generation of logistics professionals.

Commenting on the announcement, Reid said:“Being shortlisted for EY Entrepreneur Of The Year is a real honour. This recognition reflects not just my own journey, but the commitment, resilience and ambition of the entire team at TST Group. What we’ve built has always been a collective effort, and I’m proud of what we continue to achieve together.”

The shortlisted entrepreneurs collectively generate close to €1 billion in annual revenues and employ more than 3,000 people, highlighting the scale of impact created by Ireland’s entrepreneurial community across sectors including logistics, technology, consumer, health and construction.

Participants in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Ireland 2026 programme will take part in a year-long series of leadership development, networking and international experiences, including a CEO Retreat in Toronto, before culminating in a Gala Awards ceremony later this year, where category winners and the overall EY Entrepreneur Of The Year will be announced.

This year’s cohort reflects the ambition and resilience of Irish business leaders navigating a complex global landscape shaped by geopolitical uncertainty, technological change and economic volatility.
